Radnor swimmers continue success in Central League

The Radnor High School swimming teams are off to a good start in the new year, with Central League victories in January over Haverford, Harriton, Springfield and for the boys, a win over Strath Haven, bringing the Red Raider boys’ record to 6-1 and 5-2 for the Radnor girls.

The Red Raider swimmers also gave top performances at the annual All-American High School Invitational swim meet in Wilkes-Barre Jan. 15-16, with the Red Raider girls finishing second overall and the Radnor boys third overall out of six high schools from across the state.

Radnor’s second place Central League standing heading in to the last three dual swim meets of the season put the boys and girls teams in excellent position for a highly competitive Central League championship meet, to be held Feb. 19-20 at Radnor High School.
