It took an extra day to start, restart and complete, but Radnor’s Class 5A boys soccer team got the job done on Wednesday.

The Raptors, whose PIAA state tourney home game against Lampeter-Strasburg was shut down shortly after it started Tuesday due to what police called a bomb threat, dominated throughout en route to a 5-1 victory over L-S Wednesday.

Radnor (17-2-2), the 3A top seed out of District 1, will move on to a quarterfinal match Saturday morning at 11 against District 4 top seed Selinsgrove (16-4) at Lower Dauphin Middle School in Hummelstown.

Nate Lucchesi scored two goals, off assists from Brayan Chavez and Michael Savadove, for the Raptors. Lucchesi then assisted on a goal by Andrew Marino.

Matt Santerian (unassisted) and Dean Moon also scored for the Raptors. Jack Kelly scored for Lampeter-Strasburg, and Radnor goalkeeper Jake Barber made one save.
