Mehra’s goals help Radnor finally best Conestoga

Radnor ends it 10 yr drought to Conestoga, beating them 2-1 at Teamer field tonight. Two well-matched teams with a lot of speed and skill. Radnor, lead by its seniors, Olivia Decain, Brigid Lowry, Barbara Civitella, and Geneveive Mehra stayed strong and maintained control throughout most of the game. Radnor scored its 2 goals in the first half, both by Geneveive Mehra. One-off a drive in the circle, the second off a broken corner assisted by Brigid Lowry. Conestoga scored off a corner by Kate Galica in the first half. Barbara Civitella and the forwards kept the pressure up. The 3 defense backs, Olivia Decain, Madison Milhous and Hope Delaney played lights out defense, staying strong ’til the last seconds of the game.
