Digging around for some results from cross country invitationals over the weekend yielded a strong showing at the Carlisle Invitational by the Radnor boys.
Competing in the boys champions race for smaller schools, junior Connor Holm and senior Watson Hanson finished first and third, respectively, with clockings of 16:04 and 16:12, respectively. Daniel Green of James Buchanan got between the two Radnor runners for second place in 16:06.
Holm and Hanson led the Raiders to a third-place finish in the team standings with a 165 total. Holm told the PennTrackXC website that the entire team had faster times this year, but the competition was stronger this time around. West Potomac (Va.) beat Holy Ghost Prep by eight for the team title.
Also finishing for Radnor at Carlisle were senior Patrick Dwyer (40th in 17:20), sophomore Henry Minning (58th in 17:26), junior Andre Kelly (66th in 17:31), junior Julian Evans (92nd in 17:44) and senior Grant Gsell (207th in 18:51).
