Radnor girls avenge loss to Harriton

Everyone needs reminders from time to time, and the Radnor girls’ lacrosse team is no different.

After falling to Harriton in the District 1 tournament, the Raiders reminded themselves what they’re capable of, and pulled off a thrilling 8-7 overtime victory Saturday in a PIAA quarterfinals rematch at West Chester East.

After Hannah Proctor scored the tying goal with 1 minute and 50 seconds left in regulation, coach Brooke Fritz reminded her team again.

“I just told them that they had controlled the second half of the game,” Fritz said. “The game was in their hands, and they just needed to be patient and wait for the open shot.”
