Garnet Valley’s Larry Coaxum is peaking at the right time. The senior from Garnet Valley turned in another terrific performance Saturday, winning the long and triple jumps at the Track and Field Coaches Association of Greater Philadelphia Meet of Champions.

Coaxum leaped 22 feet, 2 inches to win the long jump and 46-2 to claim gold in the triple jump. He wasn’t the only county athlete to come home with a pair of individual medals.

Ethan Rigby, Brendan Luong, Patrick Theveny and Andrew Woolery from Penncrest won the distance medley relay (10:46.03), just ahead of Garnet Valley (10:47.10).

Haverford High had a solid day. Mike Donnelly was fourth in the mile. Chasen Wint took sixth in the shot put, and the Fords were second in the 4 x 800.

Gbarwho Flahn of Upper Darby placed third in the 400, and the Royals were third in the 4 x 400. Malachi Langley of Chester placed fifth in the 400. Garnet Valley’s Chris Rudawsky was fifth in the 800.
